About the role:

Join a growing Employment team in Melbourne and work across contentious and non-contentious matters. You will be responsible for:

Advising on employment and industrial relations matters across a broad employer base.
Running complex and high-stakes disputes, including:
- Restraints litigation
- General protections claims
- Discrimination matters
- Unfair dismissal claims
Drafting high-quality advices, pleadings and other employment documentation.

The ideal candidate:

5+ years’ post-admission experience in employment and industrial relations.
Background from a large national or international firm, or a specialist employment practice.
Strong technical ability, commercial judgment, and crisp drafting skills.
Confident client-facing communication (written and verbal).
Proven ability to prioritise, manage competing deadlines, and run matters autonomously.
A collaborative style with a proactive, team-first approach.
