Lawyer: Employment 1-3 years PQE

About the role:

  • Provide employment and workplace relations advice to employer clients within a specific industry sector
  • Act as a key point of contact via a legal hotline, delivering timely and practical guidance on day-to-day employment matters
  • Support and deliver seminars, training sessions, and member-facing presentations on relevant legal developments
  • Work closely with a small, collaborative team while managing your own workflow and priorities
  • Exposure to a broad mix of advisory work, with a strong focus on real-time, practical problem-solving rather than traditional fee-earning matters

The ideal candidate:

  • 1-3 PQE employment lawyer with experience advising on workplace relations and employment law matters
  • Prior exposure to industry awards (particularly within hospitality or similar sectors) will be highly regarded
  • Confident communicator who is comfortable speaking directly with clients and presenting in group settings
  • A proactive, self-sufficient individual who can operate autonomously while contributing to a close-knit team
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic advice tailored to business needs
