About the role:

Advising on environmental, planning and approvals strategy for major projects
Working on development approvals, environmental licences, clearing permits and compliance frameworks
Advising on climate, heritage, native title and land access issues
Helping clients manage regulator engagement, investigations and enforcement risk
Running or supporting planning appeals, judicial review, prosecutions and administrative challenges where required

The ideal candidate:

Senior Associate with 5+ years PQE
Knowledge of WA planning laws desirable
Strong technical legal skills and drafting ability
Excellent communication and client management skill
A collaborative approach and eagerness to work in a high-performing, close-knit team
