About the role:
- Acting on a range of banking & finance matters, including corporate finance, real estate finance, acquisition finance and general secured lending transactions.
- Advising a mix of lenders, borrowers, sponsors and corporate clients on transaction structuring, facility documentation, security arrangements and deal execution.
- Running matters with a high degree of responsibility, while also supporting broader team strategy and mentoring more junior lawyers where appropriate.
- Playing a visible role in client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the practice in Perth.
The ideal candidate:
- 6+ years’ PAE in banking & finance from a recognised private practice team.
- Strong experience across secured lending and broader finance transactions, with the confidence to manage matters and maintain client relationships.
- Commercially astute, technically strong and comfortable taking ownership of files and client outcomes.
- A collaborative senior lawyer who is looking for a strong platform, quality work and long-term progression.
