Senior Associate: Strata & Property

About the role:

  • Work closely with an experienced Partner in a senior role within a growing Strata & Property team
  • Advise on a broad mix of strata and property matters, including by-laws, community title and company title issues, subdivision work, redevelopment matters, leases and licenses, and commercial agreements
  • Handle NCAT applications and appeals, Office of Fair Trading mediations, and related dispute work where required
  • Step into a varied and challenging position with real scope to act as a 2IC and build your profile within a highly specialized practice

The ideal candidate:

  • Senior Associate with at least 5 years PQE in property/strata law, with strong general commercial experience
  • Soid technical ability across property matters, with the commercial judgement to provide practical, client-focused advice
  • Experience in strata and community title matters would be highly regarded, though strong property lawyers from broader backgrounds will also be considered
  • Confident in building and maintain client relationships and able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Litigation or dispute resolution experience is not required but will be highly regarded
