About the role:

  • You’ll work across a broad financial services regulatory practice with exposure to both day-to-day advisory matters and more strategic, high-profile work. The role is not boxed into one stream, so it would suit someone who wants variety and strong long-term development in the space.
  • Matters are likely to include: Financial services licensing and ongoing compliance obligations.
  • Governance, accountability and risk framework advice.
  • Regulatory investigations and dealings with ASIC and APRA.
  • Remediation and compliance uplift projects.
  • Regulatory aspects of transactions and corporate activity.
  • Emerging reform work across areas like payments, privacy and AML/CTF.

The ideal candidate:

  • 2–4 years’ PQE in financial services regulation or a closely related area.
  • A solid grounding in regulatory frameworks affecting financial institutions.
  • Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A commercial mindset and confidence working closely with clients.
  • A genuine interest in building your career in this space.
