About your new employer:

Our client is a well-established Australian law firm with offices in Melbourne and Sydney. The firm has recognised capability across areas including Public & Administrative Law, Property & Development, Planning & Environment, Prosecutions and Workplace Relations.

About the role:

  • Help to grow and strengthen the firm’s local capability in the public law space.
  • Work across public law, administrative law, planning-related government matters, regulatory work and/or associated disputes.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders and have the chance to contribute strategically to the direction and profile of the practice.

The ideal candidate:

  • Senior Lawyer, Special Counsel or equivalent seniority.
  • Strong background in public law, administrative law, planning, local government, regulatory or related advisory/disputes work.
  • Ideally brings some client following, referrer network or clear capability to generate work.
  • Confident working autonomously while also collaborating closely with partners and adjacent teams.
