About the role:

As an Employment Lawyer/Associate with 3+ years PQE, you’ll work across the full spectrum of employment and industrial relations law, including:

  • Advising employers and employees on workplace rights, obligations and risks
  • Handling complex disputes, litigation and regulatory matters
  • Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies and agreements
  • Providing strategic advice on terminations, redundancies and restructures
  • Working closely with clients across a diverse range of industries

This role will suit someone who wants more autonomy, client exposure, and the chance to grow within a supportive boutique environment while still working on high-quality matters.

The ideal candidate:

  • 3+ years post-admission experience in employment law (or related litigation/IR)
  • Strong technical skills in drafting, advisory, and dispute resolution
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Commercial mindset with a practical, solution-focused approach
  • Comfortable managing matters autonomously while collaborating in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to juggle competing deadlines
  • Eager to grow under the mentorship of a leading Partner and take on increasing responsibility
  • Values a supportive, inclusive culture and is motivated by delivering real impact for clients
